Do you accept debit and credits cards for payment?
Yes. We accept debit and all major credit cards except American Express.
What are your operating hours?
We are open from Monday to Friday 10am-6pm.
Do you rent to the general public?
Yes. We rent to the general public. Certain items are not available to rent to the public based on their historical nature and value.
How long can I rent an item for?
The minimum rental period is two weeks and the maximum rental period is one month.
I might need to rent an item for a longer period of time. Is there an extended rental policy based on the initial rental?
Yes. You can extend your rental at a rate of 50% of the original price.
Can I put costumes on hold?
Our minimum hold policy is two weeks. If you require an item to be on hold longer a fee may apply.
If I lose an item is there a replacement fee?
Yes. The replacement fee is two to four times the original rental price depending on historical value of the item.
Can I return my rented item(s) to Thunder Thighs Costumes using a shipping or courier service?
Yes. Be sure your shipping or courier service delivers the items to Thunder Thighs Costumes during regular business hours. The customer is liable for any damage or loss incurred while shipping.
Do I need to dry clean my items before returning them to Thunder Thighs?
Yes. We can also dry clean them for you at an additional cost.
If I damage an item is there a fee?
Yes. The fee varies depending on the nature of the item rented.
Do you have change rooms?
Yes. We have two change rooms for use. One on each floor.
Do I need a deposit to rent an item?
Yes. Individuals or small independent productions require a credit card number for rentals. Larger productions require a $1000.00 security deposit.
Can I make alterations to the costumes?
Yes. Alterations are acceptable as long as the item is returned in ]the original status it was rented. A repair fee will incur if it is not returned as originally rented.
Do you ship items to locations?
Yes. We can ship worldwide. We require your fed-ex number or credit card number to ship to locations outside of Canada.
Can I return rented items after business hours?
No. We do not have a drop box. You must return rented items during regular business hours. We are open Monday to Friday 10am – 6pm.
Can I do fittings for models, actors, actresses, etc. in Thunder Thighs?
Yes. There is a fee based on the amount of time required and number of people being fitted.
Do you have accessories or props for rent?
Yes. We have a variety of accessories and props available to rent.
Do I need my measurements?
Yes. You need to know your neck, waist, head, chest and shoe sizes.
